Q: Is this zine Safe For Work?

A: Moderate gore (blood, death, depictions of violence) and strong language may occasionally feature in this zine - however, sexually explicit content will not be included.

Q: What are the bundles and how much will they cost?

A: Our smallest bundle (digital only) will cost approximately $15, while our full bundle (digital + physical zine, bonus digital PDF booklet, & all regular merch) is estimated to cost around $65.

Q: Why are some characters not featured in Q&As?

A: Social media Q&As were a time-limited opt-in project for contributors, which is why you may have noticed that some characters haven't made an appearance on our socials! However, the bonus digital PDF (available once preorders open) will contain all Q&A responses, including ones that feature characters who were not previously posted!
Additional responses, as well as a select few of the more serious/spoiler-y ones, have also been reserved for the PDF.

Q: Why aren't Hifumi and Teruteru in the zine?

A: Unfortunately, both Hifumi and Teruteru lacked interest from both the interest check and the artist applications. We would have loved to include them if possible - however, we put an emphasis on allowing artists to draw the characters they personally express interest in. We apologize sincerely for their absence.

Q: Can fanart/cosplay/fanfics be made of the IAMM masterminds?

A: Absolutely! However, please don't forget to credit the respective contributors for that character. Tag the zine account if you'd like us to reshare your fanworks!

Q: Will this zine include ships?

A: Since the main focus of this zine is the Mastermind AU, our goal is to make it equally enjoyable for everyone who is interested in the concept - regardless of their taste in ships. Depicting characters interacting is absolutely allowed, but this zine will not feature any parings in a romantic setting.

We're looking for 2-5 of your best works - ones that demonstrate the breadth of your technique with color, character design, anatomy, composition and backgrounds!
Please aim to include at least one piece featuring the characters you are applying for.
Non-fan art pieces are allowed, as well as artistic nudity. Please do not include nsfw in your portfolio otherwise.
Try to include as much variety as possible!

Please attach 1 work as well as a ficlet (under 300 words) inspired by the following prompt:
"Write about a pre-existing or entirely new trial execution for the character you want to write for. Feel free to get creative!"

merch artist

For charms and stickers, we will primarily be looking for unique stylization and aesthetically pleasing design simplification. For prints, we will be looking for strong illustrative works that demonstrate technique! Prior experience is appreciated!

graphic designer

We will be searching for professional quality and technical proficiency - meaning aesthetically pleasing arrangements of a variety of shapes, colors, and fonts in your designs. There will be two roles available - leading and following. The lead graphic designer will mainly be be overseeing and instructing the following designer. Please use the provided transparent images and create a (1080x360) banner to demonstrate that you can match the aesthetic of our page and carrd. Prior experience with working on similar projects and using InDesign is required.

Hi! I'm Sel and I'll be illustrating for this zine, in addition to managing the project as lead coordinator and communications mod. I have past experience with heading long-term collaborative projects online, and I've founded and managed a digital charity zine - titled This Is (Not) an Irouma Fanzine. This will be my first time leading a physical fandom zine - I'm incredibly excited to work with all of our contributors, and can't wait to see the results!

Hi! I’m Angela and I’m an 18 year old student who loves to draw and meet new people! I'm currently the head mod for the Danganronpa Fashion Zine, Drop! Dead! Despair! and I'm here to keep the zine running smoothly. Call me out if I suck at my job. I’ve also modded for multi-month digital collaborative projects, such as the Gorillaz Fanthology, G-U Zine, DECKspair, and Alternia Art. Additionally, I’ve managed 2 local physical zines. As an artist, I’ve been featured in various other projects, including (but not limited to) the HS Act 6 Tarot, Ladystuck Tarot, Burning Hearts, Kind Lie, Distrust, and the Neo Tokyo Zine.
